Intrepid Named Finalist for BBB of North Alabama’s 2022 Torch Award for Ethics
Intrepid was recently named the finalist for the Better Business Bureau of North Alabama’s 2022 Torch Award for Ethics in the Government Contractor category.
“For both Bill Best and I, we are deeply appreciative of this recognition for Intrepid,” said Mark Vaporis, Intrepid President. “Our culture is built around the timeless and God honoring perspective of doing unto others what you yourself would have done to you. We strive to uphold that principle in each strategic, operational, and tactical decision we make. On behalf of each Intrepid employee endeavoring to put this ethos into practice consistently, we are genuinely honored to be a finalist for the Torch Award for Ethics.”
Presented yearly, the Torch Award for Ethics honors businesses that demonstrate outstanding ethics in the workplace and community across the BBB of North Alabama’s 13-county service area.
Finalists and winners were announced at the BBB’s 25th Anniversary Torch Award Luncheon on Monday, November 7, at the Westin in Huntsville.
Candidates for the Torch Award for Ethics were nominated and given the opportunity to submit information regarding their organization’s focus on character, culture, customers, and community. An independent, distinguished, voluntary panel of judges representing the business and academic community evaluated all entries from businesses and nonprofits that provided an entry for the Torch Award.
Congratulations to all winners and finalists!
