Intrepid Wins $534M DoD SETA Support Contract
Huntsville, Ala., January 17, 2024 – The U.S. Army has awarded Intrepid LLC a 5 ½-year Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Support Services contract. The contract has a potential total value of $534 million. The contract objective and requirements include programmatic and technical support in various areas including program operations, systems engineering, systems test, systems software engineering, and systems logistics.
“Intrepid is proud to continue our longstanding partnership with PEO Missiles & Space and the outstanding Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) leadership team,” said Mark Statham, Business Unit Manager for PEO Missiles & Space Programs. “It is a testament to the skill and expertise this contract team provides on a daily basis that we were selected to support this critical U.S. Army modernization program.”
Ties to the weapon program run deep. Intrepid’s support to this mission pre-dates its establishment as an independent company to include several years under ownership as a joint venture beginning in 2002.
“Intrepid is deeply appreciative of the opportunity to continue to support the PEO,” stated Mark Vaporis, Intrepid President. “Their mission is critically important to Army technical superiority, and I am proud of our collective team, to include our trusted corporate partners, and the expertise they provide to ensure mission success. We’re looking forward to assisting IFMC by enhancing the achievement of their multiple mission objectives. The entire IFMC PO leadership team – executive, technical, programmatic, and administrative – is outstanding. They are progressing the program toward comprehensive operational capability. We’re honored to be their contractor partner.”
