Intrepid Issues Q1 Grants Through its Ideal Community Fund
Earlier this month, members of the Intrepid Ideal Community Fund (ICF) issued its first two grants of the year, totaling $20,000.
Huntsville Hospital Foundation
The first grant, totaling $10,000, was awarded to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. Funds will be used to provide parents and caregivers with proper education and the installation of car seats, booster seats, and seat belts. Free car seats are also provided for mothers who are involved in car accidents.
The second grant, totaling $10,000, was awarded to Alabama Veterans. This grant will ensure the mission to help veterans find a purpose in life after service will be accomplished. Funds will help facilitate camaraderie and support that significantly helps service members adapt to civilian life.
We are proud to support these impactful nonprofit organizations and are grateful for the difference they continue to make in our community!
The Ideal Community Fund exists to advance philanthropic solutions to our community’s needs by continuously striving to create Intrepid’s vision of an ideal community which includes safety, opportunity, and care for all citizens.
