Intrepid Issues $10,000 Grant to Next Step Farms
On August 24, Intrepid issued a $10,000 grant to Next Step Farms. These funds will go toward the nonprofit organization’s fencing project.
Located in the Harvest community on 14.46 acres, Next Step Farms is a day program with a farm-themed environment to help adults with special needs learn job skills and obtain meaningful work.
The areas of daily routine involvement at Next Step Farms include anything from landscaping and mechanical maintenance to data entry and basic finance, and raising chickens and growing a garden to working a farmer’s market roadside stand.
