Intrepid Aspire Scholarship Recipients 2019

This year we launched the Intrepid Aspire scholarship program. This program awards educational scholarships to college freshmen who aspire to achieve a college education despite financial or personal struggles/hardship. A $1000 non-renewable scholarship will be awarded to a full-time, admitted entering freshman to each of the following universities:

• Alabama A&M University
• Auburn University
• University of Alabama 
• University of Alabama – Huntsville (UAH)
• Mississippi State University (MSU)

Candidates for this scholarship must be residents of Madison, Morgan or Limestone county in Alabama; be of good moral character; plan to major in a STEM or business-related major; and have demonstrated academic and leadership ability as well as financial need.

We received many very impressive applications demonstrating hard work, initiative and commendable career aspirations. Our Scholarship Committee has selected the following recipients for this year.

• Alabama A&M: Niceson Ejam
• UA: Alexandra Sedlmayr
• Auburn: Chella Rossel
• MSU: Daegan Appel
