Intrepid Issues $16,000 in Grants to Local Nonprofits
Earlier this month, members of the Intrepid Ideal Community Fund issued grants to our Quarter 3 recipients.
The first grant, issued to Still Serving Veterans, will go toward the organization’s VA benefit program. SSV serves and honors Veterans and their families by empowering them to build meaningful lives through connections to fulfilling careers, benefits, and services; and to proactively strengthen Veteran communities through leadership and collaboration. The second grant, issued to the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation, will go toward providing 50 patients with up to $200 to help with prescription co-pays. The Russel Hill Cancer Foundation improves the health of the North Alabama area through the support of bold, innovative cancer research, cancer education, and patient assistance. We are proud to support these two wonderful nonprofit organizations and thank them for the difference they are making in our community.
The mission of the Intrepid Ideal Community Fund is to advance philanthropic solutions to our community’s needs by continuously striving to create the Intrepid vision of an “ideal” community which includes safety, opportunity, and care for all citizens. Discover more about the ICF here.
