Intrepid ICF Delivers $10,000 Grant to National Children's Advocacy Center
On May 4, the Intrepid Ideal Community Fund was honored to deliver a $10,000 grant to the National Children’s Advocacy Center (NCAC).
This grant will cover complete intervention services, to include forensic interviews, medical examinations, and evidenced-based therapy costs, for two Madison County children who have been sexually abused.
The NCAC, located in Huntsville, Ala., models, promotes, and delivers excellence in child abuse response and prevention through service, education, and leadership. Since its creation in 1985, the NCAC has revolutionized the United States’ response to child sexual abuse. The organization has served as a model for the 950+ Children Advocacy Centers now operating in the United States and in more than 34 countries throughout the world.
